From light single-stud to full-foot and chain types: BlueFrontier has focused on ice cleat R&D and manufacturing since 2014. Forefoot, full-foot, chain overshoes and spring-steel coil cleats cover commuting, hiking, alpine and ice-snow work. All claims are subject to test reports.

Five cleat structures, each covering a road condition
- Forefoot single-stud / steel-stud — light and portable with stronger grip, for daily commuting and light hiking;
- Zinc-plated stud forefoot — zinc-plated, rust-resistant and durable, for city roads after de-icing and rainy-snow regions;
- Disc studs — disc design for even ground contact, for facility roads and walking on snow;
- Full-foot — 360° grip across the whole sole, for alpine use and harsh ice-snow work;
- Stainless chain overshoes / spring-steel coil — extreme ice-snow environments and carry-along emergencies.

Forefoot or full-foot ice cleats — how do I choose?
Forefoot types are light and portable, suited to commuting and light hiking; full-foot types such as BF-ICW05 give 360° grip across the whole sole, suited to alpine use and harsh ice-snow work. Choose by slope, ice thickness and walking duration.
What scenarios suit the chain type?
