Manufacturing & Quality
About 10,000 m² of owned factory space; molds, CNC, rubber compounding and molding lines are self-held. Sampling, mold making and shipment all happen in one factory, with dual incoming and finished-goods inspection — claims are backed by test reports.
Manufacturing capability
The key stages we own
- About 10,000 m² factory — including a cleanroom; production, inspection and warehousing for ice cleats and shoe covers on one site;
- Mold workshop & CNC — molds designed and machined in-house; custom projects never pass through third parties from drawing to mold;
- Rubber compounding & molding lines — natural rubber and other raw materials compounded, molded and vulcanized in-house, with formulations adjusted by use case;
- Dual inspection — incoming inspection gates raw materials and hardware; finished-goods inspection gates pull strength, appearance and packaging.
Workflow
From sampling to shipment
- ① Requirement confirmation — drawings, spike count, size range, packaging and target-market compliance confirmed item by item;
- ② Sampling — samples produced and shipped per confirmed requirements; process and materials locked after sample approval;
- ③ Mold making — our own mold workshop and CNC machining; lead time assessed by structural complexity;
- ④ Molding — compounding, molding and vulcanization on our own lines, with in-process patrol inspection following each batch;
- ⑤ Inspection & shipment — packed and shipped after finished-goods inspection passes; batch reports provided with the goods.

Quality control
Inspection checkpoints
| Checkpoint | Controls |
|---|---|
| Incoming inspection | Batch sampling of natural rubber and other raw materials plus hardware before warehousing; nonconforming lots never reach the line |
| In-process patrol | Patrol inspection follows each batch through compounding, molding and vulcanization, with parameters on file |
| Finished-goods inspection | Stud-to-sole pull strength, appearance, sizing and packaging checked item by item before warehousing |
| Third-party testing | Physical and chemical items sent to third-party bodies; reports provided per batch |
- Inspection items and acceptance criteria follow the spec sheet and test reports of the corresponding model;
- For volume orders, customer-designated inspection agencies can be arranged to inspect at the factory as agreed.
FAQ
Manufacturing & quality FAQ
Can we audit or visit the factory?
Yes. BlueFrontier is an owned factory and welcomes audits and visits from brand, channel and group-purchasing customers. Submit your request via the contact page with the expected headcount and dates; we reply within 1 business day to confirm arrangements. Sedex audit records can be requested through your auditing body per standard procedure.
What is the workflow from sampling to mass production?
Drawings and requirements are confirmed first and samples produced; after sample confirmation, molds are made in our own mold workshop with CNC machining, followed by rubber compounding, molding, vulcanization and inspection before mass shipment. Mold making to shipment happens in one factory; timelines and costs are evaluated per model — submit the requirements form and we reply within 1 business day.
